VocalEyes: Empowering Learner Voice

  • Amplify Learner Voice through action orientated engagement
  • Enhance learners’ experience and satisfaction by identifying and actioning their priorities as they occur
  • Deliver experience of active citizenship through our e-learning Digital Activist courses (and award digital badges to those who complete the courses)
  • Incentivise learners to become more involved.

VocalEyes empowers learners (and staff) to express their ideas continuously and collectively, having generated over 100,000 interactions via VocalEyes to date.

On a real time platform, campuses divided by geography and location (such as work based learners, apprentices) presents no obstacle to engagement.

  • Gather learner priorities
  • Evaluate evidence
  • Action Ideas

Genuinely give all learners a ‘voice’

VocalEyes has provided us with the vehicle by which we can genuinely give all learners a ‘voice’ rather than the usual minority that turn up to meetings. VocalEyes provides a dynamic online facility for capturing new ideas, honing them through online debate and systematically determining which ideas have most support.

Dr Geoff Elliott. Director of Business, Development & Community, Pembrokeshire College

VocalEyes … to take Learner Voice into a new era

Through the work of Estyn, the Welsh Government and NUS Wales, Learner voice has been placed at the very heart of capturing students’ views within the college.

VocalEyes has provided an opportunity for the college to take Learner Voice into a new era.
